A tiny plant asserts itself in the large sand dunes near the beach in Oceano, California. Every time I see a little tree or plant by itself like this, I have to shoot it (see Morning Snow, Tree with a View, A Lonely Guest). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't -- I'm still not sure about this one.
